SMART FIXED ROUTE
In 2020, SMART in partnership with AECOM, completed an intensive, 18 month fixed route system study, that identified, analyzed and prioritized a series of transit improvements to help create a more efficient bus system in Metro Detroit. Areas of analysis include:
- Improve the efficiency of the transit system,
- Increase accessibility throughout the Detroit metro region
- Determine improvements the public would like see for the system.
